The Most Basic Acoustic Guitar Lessons
Before one can begin playing the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Rush or Journey on his or her new guitar, there are some primary lessons that must be learned (as well as some harder lessons and advanced techniques). The point is that a lot of learning and practice is necessary for anyone to excel at guitar. But remember to start with the basics. Once the beginning essentials are mastered, the new guitarist can move up to the greater challenges. But it requires lots of patience and plenty of practice.
At some point, you will probably want to sign up for acoustic guitar lessons - either in person or online. However, you can begin on the guitar without any formal lessons at all. Consider this article a window to your own individual acoustic guitar lesson. You do not even need an instructor! Before you even begin strumming the strings, pick up your guitar and look at it. Notice the way it feels in your hands. What features of your guitar are distinct from other instruments? Seeing these basic features and noticing their importance will give you a place to start.
If you have not done so already, you will need to pick up a tuner for your guitar. At some point in your musical career (or probably many points) you will find yourself needing to correct the tunes. That can be difficult if you have no tuner. We will not go into tuning details now, but if you pick up a tuner it will likely come with instructions explaining how it works with your guitar. Another thing you will need is a guitar pick. Strumming once or twice for fun will not seem like a big deal, but the more you practice and strum, the more inconvenient it will be for you fingers. So purchase a guitar pick and learn how to hold it as you strum away.
Once you have done these things, you will have begun the long journey of the acoustic guitar. Learning the specific notes and chords will be essential for you at some point, but you will need to hire an instructor to teach you through interpersonal acoustic guitar lessons to make much progress in this area. Remember, it is not a cinch, and will in fact require a lot of effort. But someday you will thank yourself for having worked so hard at learning such an amazing instrument.

Should I buy a Line 6 Spyder III 75 Watt amplifier or a Taylor Big Baby Acoustic Guitar?
I already have a Line 6 Spyder III 15 watt, and I have a nice mitchell acoustic.
I play alternative rock and even fast metal, but I also play acoustic.
Which one should I buy??
