How much does it cost to fix a broken electric guitar neck?
My friends electric guitar dropped and the neck broke like it split in the back and he wants to know how much its gonna cost to fix so if you have an answer thanks!
You would need a new neck, you can't really fix them. Expect to pay $100 or more for the neck. If it is a cheap guitar, you might want to just get a new guitar.

I'm looking at the Cort EVL x4 and the ESP LTD 100FM. I know that the Cort has a 19mm neck.
Does anyone know how thin the ESP's is?

Frankly, I would not get too obsessed with finding the absolutely thinnest neck. A few mm do not really make all that much difference. I would not ackrifcie the overall quality of the guitar just to get a neck that is 2 mm thinner.
ESP does not give the neck contour measurements on their website, nor do they give the radius of their necks. All that they say is super thin and flat radius.
There are two aspects to consiter, the profile ( back shape and thickness) and the radius of the fretboard. Most shredders prefer a falirly flat radius.
Although I cannot tell you whether the ESP neck is thinner than the Cort neck, I do know that ESP makes excellent guitars. Overall, I would consider an ESP guitar to be a better quality instrument than a Cort.
